Voice cues: a talking interval timer

Hear what’s next and how long it lasts, so you never look at the screen mid-set

Choose Voice for a change and Cero says it out loud: the interval’s name and its length as it starts, three, two, one before the next one, and “Timer completed” at the end. You never need to look at the screen.

What it says

  • The name of each change: Warm up, High intensity, Low intensity and Cool down.
  • How long the interval lasts, right after its name.
  • Three, two, one, if you choose Voice for the countdown.
  • Timer completed, at the end.
  • In the advanced timer, the name you gave each interval, such as Burpees or Run.

In your language

Cero speaks in the language it uses on your iPhone, one of 31, with the voice built into iOS, so cues work with no internet connection.

Over your music

Voice cues play on top of Spotify, Apple Music or a podcast, and Ducking turns the music down while Cero speaks. More in interval timers and music.

Voice, sound or vibration

For each change, pick a voice cue, a sound or nothing, and turn vibration on or off. On Apple Watch, you feel every change with haptics.
