QUICK ANSWERS

Can an interval timer play over your music?

Keep Spotify, Apple Music or a podcast playing, and still hear every change

How it works

  • Your music keeps playing: Cero mixes its cues with the sound from Spotify, Apple Music, a podcast or an audiobook.
  • Ducking, in Cero’s sounds, lowers the music while a cue plays and brings it back after. Turn it off to keep the volume steady.
  • For each change, choose a sound, a voice cue or nothing, and turn vibration on or off.

Or let Cero play the music

Pick a default song for a timer, or a different song for each interval, from Apple Music or your music library: a fast track for work and something calmer for rest. Songs from the cloud need an internet connection, and may need an Apple Music subscription.

If you can’t hear the cues

  • Turn the volume up: Cero’s cues use the same volume as your music.
  • Check that the change has a sound or a voice cue, not None.
  • If loud music covers the cues, turn Ducking on.
